CO’s warn about deer and off roading

B-C Conservation Officers are warning pet owners to be careful when walking their animals during deer fawning season.

Deputy Chief of the B-C Conservation Officer Service Chris Doyle says some mother dear can be dangerous…

Doyle notes that it’s also important to leave deer fawns alone. If you have a concern about wildlife, contact the Conservation Officer Service.

In the meantime, the B-C Conservation Officer Service is set to put a focus on off-road vehicle enforcement.

Doyle says the C-O-S will soon have 8 auxiliary officers tasked with providing off-road vehicle education and enforcement…

Doyle says the 8 new officers will be trained throughout July and August and will work through until January in different areas across the province.
