The Municipality of North Cowichan has awarded the contract to build the park to Vancouver Island’s Radius Construction.
The park, which will cost 183,000 dollars, will be located on a 1 point 2-acre Municipally-owned property at 1537 Chaplin Street.
It will be about 4,800 square feet in size and will accommodate different skill levels.
Park construction is scheduled for completion in January 2017.
