Duncan’s Sunridge Place will be getting some new care aides to help out with residents.
Ian West, the Vice President of Operations, says the senior care facility will be adding the equivalent of 10 full-time positions.
West says through the transition the facility will continue to exceed the requirement of having 20 per cent of the care provided by professionally licensed staff.
He says the changes will require the allocation of previous LPN hours to the care aide positions.
The changes will take effect on March 28th of this year.
