Many communities will have activities for families this long weekend.
Ernie Mansueti, the Director of Parks and Recreation with the Municipality of North Cowichan, says the weekend in the Cowichan Valley kicks off with free skating on Sunday at the Fuller Lake arena.
He says on Monday there’s a long list of activities…..
Also on Monday, there’s free public skating at Lake Cowichan and at the Kerry Park Arena in Mill Bay and free bowling in Youbou.
