REDress Project comes to Duncan

The REDress project is a striking one and it will be taking place in Duncan this weekend.
Participants in the project are asked to bring a red dress to hang in a tree in Charles Hoey park in Duncan on Sunday.
The dresses symbolize missing and murdered indigenous women.
Kendra Thomas with the Warmland Women’s Support Services says the image is striking…..
Sunday’s event starts at 9:30 with a prayer circle.
There are no speakers, the vigil is silent.
The event coincides with the annual Stolen Sisters March in Vancouver.
