A lively meeting at the CVRD last night revolved around a proposed LNG project.
After adopting a motion last month saying the Board was not supportive of any LNG development in the region, last night the Board adopted another motion that basically said, despite their lack of support for LNG development, any application for LNG projects would get a fair hearing.
The motion was supported by the entire board save for director Lori Iannidinardo…..
There were a number of people in the gallery, there to voice their objection to a proposed LNG project in the Mill Bay area. Marilyn Vintry was one of them….

There are about one thousand signatures on a petition that opposes an LNG development in the Saanich inlet.
