Should the Cowichan Secondary school and the Quamichan campus operate as two distinct learning opportunities or should they system remain status quo?
That’s what the District superintendent and trustees want to know.
A public conversation was struck back in January about the issue, but superintendent Rod Allen says it was cut short when students had to begin preparing for exams and a semester change….
Allen says the public conversation will continue but trustees are currently working on a deadline with the next year’s budget.
He says nothing will be changing at either campus until November at the earliest.
