If you’re a lover of trails and parks in North Cowichan, you can have a say in the development of new ones and improvement of existing ones at a series of community meetings.
The Parks and Trails Master Plan is gathering information from stakeholders and the community to create a plan for future and existing trails and parks. North Cowichan Community Liaison Natasha Horsman says there will be preliminary visions, outcomes and strategies at the community meetings for the public to see and share their feedback.
The community meetings start tomorrow (Tue) in Crofton from 5-8pm at the Crofton Community Centre. Then next Monday April 18th at the Chemainus High School, and in the south end at the Island Savings Centre on April 19th.
