The Cowichan Valley Regional District is moving ahead with a plan to hire a new manager for economic development.
CVRD director for Youbou-Meade Creek, Klaus Kuhn says there were other options council could have considered……
Kuhn says council should have contracted out the job or hired a coordinator instead.
Spending money on economic development in the Cowichan Valley has been a sore spot for some ratepayers over the years.
