The BC government is taking action to improve care for patients with mental health.

Auditor General Carol Bellringer has released a report on a review on mental health services across the province.

She says while there were many positive practices, the review did identify several service gaps.

Bellringer states the Ministry of Health is working to improve practices to ensure consistent and equitable treatment.
