The Chemainus Chamber of Commerce managed to snag some funding from Destination B.C. to hire a bus greeter and do a survey of the clientele on the tour buses this summer.
Kelly Argue says she’s been on the job for 3 weeks now and it’s been interesting up to this point….
She says the guests are coming from Australia, the Hong Kong area of China, and Korea mostly.
She’s gathering information like how long they are staying in town, why they came and whether or not they will be enjoying a meal during their visit.
That information will all be crunched at the end of the summer to get a better idea about the tour clientele.
