Angling Enforcement on the Island Ramps Up

The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC and BC Conservation Officer Service are ramping up angling enforcement to make sure rules are obeyed on provincial waterways.

Deputy Chief of the Conservation Service, Chris Doyle, says you need a provincial angling license. He adds that rules and regulations may be different depending on what body of water you’re fishing at.

Regulations can be found at sporting good stores as well as through the government of B-C’s website.
