A Boost to End Aboriginal Homelessness in Duncan
United Way is receiving over 153 thousand dollars in additional funding from the Feds to help end aboriginal homelessness in Duncan.
Executive Director Signy Madden says this funding will have a huge impact in the community.
A call for proposals for new support services projects from local agencies is posted on the United Way’s website.
Madden says currently, the United Way is funding the breakfast and shower program at the Friendship Centre, where over 5500 breakfasts were handed out over one year.
