Commission wants to hear comments about two tier system

The BC Utilities Commission is looking for comments from residents who don’t have natural gas service.
Alison Thorson, Director of Planning, Policy and Customer Relations says the Minister of Energy and Mines wants to know how the two tier rate system has been working for residential customers of BC Hydro….
Residential BC Hydro customers are being asked to comment on the BC Utilities Commission website, under the “RIB rate report proceeding” heading.
The deadline to leave a comment is today (Sept. 2).
There are about 200 communities in the province that do not have natural gas.
Those communities include Honeymoon Bay, Youbou and Lake Cowichan.
