A man was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning at a home in Duncan.
RCMP responded to the incident around 3:50am, and located a 44 year old man suffering from several stab wounds to the upper body. He was taken to hospital in serious condition and later died of his injuries.
A 46 year old Duncan man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
The investigation is ongoing, and the home remains behind police tape at this time. North Cowichan-Duncan Sgt. Kurtis Bosnell says the incident does not appear to be a random act. He says the victim was a former Island resident, and was known to the suspect.
