The expansion is continuing out at the Nanaimo airport.
Mike Hooper, President and CEO says there’s been some work on the parking lot and the area where the aircraft park and next up is the air terminal building itself….
Through it all, Hooper is not anticipating increases in the Airport Improvement Fees passengers pay.
Hooper says the airport is growing much faster than was anticipated.
The last Nanaimo Airport expansion was finished in 2010.
