Two Cowichan Valley organizations were chosen as finalists for the S-E-Catayst Gala, for being groups that use business strategies to maximize social impact.
Project Coordinator for Social Enterprise Catalyst Sarah Amyot says three finalists will pitch their business challenges on stage in front of a live audience and a panel of expert judges.
The third finalist is the Community Closet Thrift Store in Victoria.
At the event, the judges will divide 50 thousand dollars in cash and prizes to the finalists.
