Auditor General looks at Gaming Grant program

The Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development says government recognizes that improvements need to be made in some key areas of the Community Gaming Grants program.
Peter Fassbender was responding following the release by the Office of the Auditor General of a performance audit of the Grants program.

There are ten recommendations made including in the area of one time grants to organizations…..
 
 
The government distributes almost 135 million dollars a year from the Community Gaming Grants program to 5,000 eligible non-profit organizations.
