Earth Hour sees power use dip

On Vancouver Island, for Earth Hour, the use of power dipped by point 2 per cent Saturday night.
Province-wide the power saved was the equivalent of turning off 1.1 million LED lights or point 3 per cent.

Nearly 190 countries and territories across seven continents participated in Earth Hour.
