The annual Cone Zone campaign is underway.
The initiative is put on by Work-Safe B-C.
Spokesperson Trina Pollard says it aims to raise awareness about roadside safety and remind drivers to pay attention and watch out for road workers.
Pollard says over the last decade, 15 roadside workers were killed on the job after being hit by a motor vehicle.
