There’s lots of work to do before the community of Ladysmith gets the record for the largest one day street hockey tournament from Guinness World Records.
One of the organizers of the event, Pat Battie says the event went off without a hitch with 64 teams participating…..
Battie says there were lots of spectators out too…..
He says now the paperwork needs to be done to get the event recorded officially with Guinness.
Some of the proceeds from the Ladysmith tournament will go towards Wounded Warriors Canada, an organization that supports Canada’s ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, first responders and their families.
