Shooting victims laid to rest
Hundreds of people packed memorial services for the two men killed in the
shooting at Nanaimo’s Western Forest Producst Sawmill.
53 year old Fred McEachern and 61 year old Michael Lunn were honoured at
separate ceremonies Saturday afternoon.
Coworker and shooting survivor Tony Sudar was able to attend both memorials;
The other man injured in the shooting, Earl Kelly, sent notes from his
hospital bed in Victoria.
The man charged in the shootings, Kevin Addison, is due back in court on
Tuesday. He remains in custody.
