A 23-year old man has been arrested and released on strict conditions following an assault on a school-ageĀ girl.
It happened Tuesday morning around 8:30 near Queen Margret’s School
After a brief manhunt the suspect was arrested in the Boys Road area.
Cpl Krista Hobday with the Duncan-North Cowichan detachment says RCMP have notĀ recommended charges, but continuing their investigation in order to strengthen their case against the man.
Hobday says the victim is doing well.Ā Ā Ā Police are asking witnesses to the attack to contact the Duncan-North Cowichan RCMP
