Chemanius has new park after adoption of bylaw

The adoption of a new bylaw by the North Cowichan Municipal Council yesterday means there will be a new park in the Chemanius community.

The community’s mayor, Jon Lefebure, explains what the historic decision means for North Cowichan.

Lefebure says the remaining property will be used for residential purposes.
