Red Shirt Foundation moving forward

The Red Shirt Foundation has raised nearly 95 hundred dollars so far.
The organization was formed after a man walked into the Western Forest Products Mill in Nanaimo on April 30th and opened fire.
Two men, Fred McEachern and Michael Lunn died in the gunfire and two others were injured.
Red Shirt Foundation Chair, Founding Director and a friend of the men, Dr. Lynn Jacques says over the last few months it has become abundantly clear the work the foundation will do is needed…..
She says it was clear following the Western Forest Products shooting that some workers were really at a loss…..

The Foundation will work with employers and employees to create environments that are more aware of potential violence in the workplace and respond to reports of concern or conflict.
