Officials celebrated the Cowichan-Koksila Dike Project today (Wed).
The Cowichan Tribes Chief Chip Seymour, CVRD Board Chair, Rob Hutchins, the Mayors of the Municipality of North Cowichan, John Lefebure and of Duncan, Phil Kent attended.
Lefebure says the completion of the project so far was a big undertaking but well worth it…..
He says there’s still one more piece to do…
That part of the diking project is in the design phase this year and should be done next year.
