Library Board seeks increase in funding

The Vancouver Island Regional Library is aiming to get more provincial funding.

Spokesperson David Carson says the Board is soliciting support from communities throughout the Island in asking the government to reinstate adequate funding for the Library system…..

Carson says funding for the Library system on the Island has basically remained static since 1986.
