The MLA for the Cowichan Valley says he has shown teachers he supports them.
Bill Routley is under fire by a teacher in the valley who says Routley promised he would look out for working people and make sure their voices are heard.
The letter from the teacher went on to say there has been an ominous silence from Routley’s office.
Routley says he has been showing teachers he supports them and has joined them on the picket lines outside the schools he attended as a child.
Routley says he stood up for teachers in the legislature and it is no secret where he stands on the issue.
