Tour de Rock donations down because of school strike

The annual Cops for Cancer bicycle tours are suffering because of the teachers strike.
School based fundraisers and events are a big part of the Tour de Rock and the other Tours.
Barbara Kaminsky is with the Canadian Cancer Society.  She says their best estimate right now is that donations could end up down by as much as 15 per cent.

The Tour de Rock will hit the mid-Island on the 28th, so there’s a chance the strike will be over, and school visits can go ahead

Donations for BOTH tours can be made at copsforcancerbc.ca
