The BC Ferry Coalition says the province is going to have to listen to the results of a UBCM vote calling for changes at BC Ferries.

The Coalition’s Jef Keighley says the Premier and the Transportation Minister won’t be able to continue denying the negative impact of fare hikes and sailing cuts.

Keighley says, with enough pressure from local governments across the province, Christy Clark and Todd Stone are going to have to own up and commit to actual changes.

Keighley says the province needs to take back full of BC Ferries and treat it like part of the highway system, which means funding it accordingly.
