‘Voting for Change’ Discussion is Coming to Cobble Hill

British Columbians will determine the fate of our provincial electoral system starting on October 22.

However, before we get there, Cowichan Valley Green Party MLA Sonia Furstenau, MP Elizabeth May, and former MP Jean Crowder are hosting a discussion called, ‘Voting for Change.’

Furstenau says this event will serve as a great opportunity to have meaningful conversation surrounding the advantages to proportional representation.

“We’re all going to bring our own perspectives and bring those perspectives and experiences into this conversation about why we really believe electoral reform and proportional representation will serve people better,” said Furstenau.

This event goes at the Arbutus Ridge Golf Course from 7 to 9 tonight and the doors open at 6:30 pm.

The Pro Rep mail-in ballot runs from October 22 to November 30.
