The Cowichan Valley Regional District is partnering with BC Transit to offer voters free bus service on general election day.
The free fares are available on all regularly-scheduled local routes and handyDART, but these free rides aren’t offered on route 44 commuter buses between Duncan and Victoria.
If you are a non-registered voter, you need to bring two pieces of identification to the polling stations with you.
The polls are open throughout the Cowichan Valley between 8 am and 8 pm today.
