Rod Peters: My mind is going 100 miles per hour right now

The Town of Lake Cowichan has a new mayor-elect.

He’s Rod Peters who said, “My mind is going about a hundred miles an hour right now and I am trying to digest everything that happened.”

Peters says he’s got a great council to work with, in Tim McGonigle, Lorna Vomacka, Carolyne Austin and, Kristine Sandhu.

All but Sandhu were incumbents.

The results are unofficial.

Peters said he’s ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work.

“The road through town, I think is a bit of a hazard with the trees coming in there’s limited vision. There are a few left-hand turn lanes that were, kind of, missed went they did the new plan through town.”
