Classes are scheduled to be back up and running today (Tues) at the Nanaimo VIU campus.
Emergency personnel were called to a medical emergency at the campus Monday during the noon hour.
An individual had fallen from the library.
Emergency Health Services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.
Classes were canceled and counselors were called in to help staff and students deal with the incident.
The fall was fatal and the B.C. Coroner’s Service is now investigating.
No other information has been released.
