Golden Brush Awards celebrate community, business in Chemainus
Some of Chemainus’s leading businesses and individuals have been recognized for their excellence and contributions to the community.
The chamber of commerce selected the winners of the Golden Brush Awards from a pool of 260 nominations in nine categories.
Coordinator Jean Ross says the tenth category, the President’s Award, was picked by the head of the chamber.
The other award winners: Chemainus Foods, Willow Street Cafe, Bound to be Different, Thermoproof Windows and Doors, Tim Openshaw Contracting, Chemianus Valley Courier, Doc the Barber, Twisted Sisters Tea Room and Karen Hopkins.
