North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say a 29-year-old Ladysmith man is dead after an accident on Sunday night.
The man was driving his pick-up southbound on the Trans Canada around 8 when it went off the road south of Mt. Sicker Road near Crofton and rolled.
RCMP say witnesses stopped to help, but could do little for the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Corporal Krista Hobday is with the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP detachment.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated by police and the BC Coroner’s Office.
