An eager crowd in Nanaimo packed Mon Petit Choux bakery on Monday for an announcement about a candidate seeking the nomination for the Green Party of Canada in the upcoming federal election.
Paul Manly, a longtime social justice activist and filmmaker, wants to represent the Green Party in the newly established riding of Nanaimo-Ladysmith.
Manly said he has two top priorities.
The Green Party nomination meeting is Monday on  January 12th in Nanaimo at Beban Park.
