North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP find large amount of stolen goods

Police have recovered a slew of stolen property from a residence in Duncan and a storage unit in North Cowichan.
North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP sergeant Chris Swain says Matthew Ditta of Duncan is facing multiple charges after police searched a home on Marchmont Road on January 5th.
Swain says they are still going through some of the other stuff found including drugs and weapons that are believed to be stolen.
Meanwhile, Swain says a 27-year-old man, who is a known thief to police, is facing pending charges after stolen goods were found January 7th in a storage unit on Chemainus Road.
Swain says they are still sorting through some of the other items found.
He adds the same man had a saw in his car that was reported stolen on the Sunshine Coast when he was pulled over by police on New Year’s Eve.
