Wounded Warrior run halfway home

The Wounded Warrior Run is hitting the halfway mark…

6 runners have been making their way south from Port Hardy since Sunday.

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Chris Linford is the National Ambassador for Wounded Warriors Canada.

He says while they’re getting word out about the impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it’s also important to know it’s not just military personnel. He’s heard hundreds of stories from across the country.

The runners are expected to arrive in Nanaimo Wednesday evening. They’ll pass through Duncan Thursday, with a stop at Serious Coffee around 3pm.

The final leg will be from Mill Bay to Victoria on Friday.
