Duncan Council wants to see some tweaks to Dakova Square project design

The City of Duncan would like to see some tweaks to the architectural design of the Dakova Square project.

Mayor Phil Kent says Council wants the developer of the $11,000,000 five-storey building to meet a set of guidelines, which were brought up at a meeting this week.

Kent says it’s now up to the Dakova Management Group to comply with the guidelines, as they work towards a permit to start construction at the corner of Government and Trunk.

He says he doesn’t think that will be an issue as the project has already passed the zoning and variance stages.
