The organizers of an indie rock music festival that takes place in the valley are not happy with the Cowichan Valley Regional District.
Rock of the Woods coordinator Kelly Black says getting a temporary permit from the CVRD to hold the festival in Sahtlam this summer is proving to be a frustrating experience.
Black says, based on his dealings, he doesn’t believe the CVRD wants young people in the Cowichan Valley.
Area E director Alison Nicholson disagrees.
The CVRD Board will make a final decision on the permit next month.
