It appears a part of the Trans-Canada Highway just south of Duncan is not kind to motorists.
According to ICBC’s website, there have been almost 150 accidents at the intersections of the TCH and Koksilah Road, Bench Road and the Cowichan Bay Road turnoff.
Those numbers are from 2009, and on, but don’t include anything past July 31st of last year.
ICBC officials says it’s up to local government to work with them and the province to improve that section.
Three more accidents have taken place in that stretch in the last couple of weeks, including one that landed three people in hospital on Friday.
