Nanaimo-North Cowichan MLA Doug Routley is crying foul over an access to information request.

Routely is an NDP critic for Citizens Services, the ministry that looks after FOI rules.

At the Legislature on Tuesday, he questioned the minister about a so-called “no records” response to the NDP’s request for copies of correspondence between BC Ferries CEO Mike Corrigan, the Ferry Commissioner and the Minister of Transportation.

Routley also took issue with Corrigan’s personal answer on why it seems nothing was written down.

The government, though, says all the FOI rules were followed in dealing with the NDP request.
