North Cowichan Council is pleased with the RCMP in the way prolific offenders are being handled.
Mayor Jon Lefebure says police are findings way to make sure prolific offenders end up behind bars, move away or become contributing members of the community.
He says, however, Council also got some news on Wednesday from Inspector Ray Carfantan that wasn’t as encouraging.
Lefebure says the North Cowichan/Duncan detachment’s top cop also told them police will continue to do whatever it takes to be as visible as possible.
