The CVRD’s Economic Development Commission is facing an uncertain future.
Chair Jon Lefebure says the Commission’s operations are being suspended, while the Regional District looks at major changes to how it handles economic development.
Lefebure says Commission members wanted to continue working, however, it just didn’t make sense.
The Board decided to shake things up earlier this year after a review found several problems, including the direction and structure of the Commission.
