Cowichan Bulldogs president supports CFL policy aimed at preventing violence against women

The president of the Cowichan Bulldogs says she fully supports the CFL’s decision to have players and employees take annual training on preventing violence against women.

Jennifer Lawrence says it’s an important step.

Lawrence says the Cowichan Bulldogs require players, coaches and parents to sign a code of conduct emphasizing respectful conduct on and off the field.

She says the BCFC hasn’t said anything yet about adopting the CFL’s policy aimed at preventing violence against women, but she wouldn’t be surprised to see something come down the pike.
