Duncan family creates haunted house to help local family struck by tragedy

A Duncan family has turned their property into a haunted house for Halloween to help another one through a very tough situation.

Doug Scott is the homeowner of the haunt taking place at 6269 Fairview Way in Duncan. He says the funds raised will go to the Crawford family, which recently lost their mom.

Scott says over one thousand hours of prep time has gone into getting the haunt up and ready. He says 90 per cent of the props are homemade and there are three actors.

The haunt is open Thursday, Friday and Halloween night from 6-9pm.
