North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are getting into the Christmas spirit.
The detachment’s crime prevention unit recently raised $500 and collected enough toys to stuff the back of a police truck.
The donations will go to the Salvation Army and Cowichan Valley Basket Society.
And, Cowichan Crime Stoppers has received a one thousand dollar donation from Coast Capital Savings, after a lunch last week involving police, employees and students at Duncan’s Alexander Elementary School.
