New Crofton skatepark could be built by summer of 2016

If everything goes right weather wise, Crofton will have a new skatepark by the beginning of next summer.

North Cowichan Council recently approved the location of the park, 1537 Chaplin Street, following a public meeting.

Ernie Mansueti is the Municipality’s Director of Parks and Recreation.

Mansueti says construction on the $250,000 project will start in either February or March of 2016.
