Nanaimo RCMP make arrest in TD bank ATM robbery

Nanaimo RCMP say they have made an arrest in connection with the robbery of a woman at a TD Canada Trust bank ATM.

Police say 26-year-old Michael Edward Eadie was found and arrested on the morning of January 8th in a south end Nanaimo home.

They say the suspect was also arrested on several outstanding charges of mischief involving laundry machines at the Shell gas station on Bowen Road.

Eadie was scheduled to make an appearance in court on Friday.
